Barefoot 9 Laps - 3.12 mi
It was really nice to run on the grass (it would have been better if the
sprinkler didn't decide to say hi). Afterwards Summer Running Club was

Cheveron - 3.08 mi
Today we headed under the freeway bridge (on parkway) and ran towards Chevron on that road north of the freeway. Today my Garmin Training program crashed on my computer and re-installing it isn't fixing it. The hill really kicked my butt, but it was still fun. Dirt Road - 2.55 mi
Today we just went up the road that goes under the bridge. It eventually
turns into a dirt road. We went to the peak of the hill. Today when I
hit the hill, I felt like crap when I really started to die down. Being
up until 12:30 or maybe even 1 really kicked my butt. Time for 10:30 or
maybe even 10 bedtime to improve my energy

Cheveron - 4 mi
We actually went past the Cheveron today. It was pretty cool getting
back up to mileage. I'm really starting to feel any shortage of sleep or
water. My newest goal is to break the habit of late nights. I started
to die down towards the end of my run.

Dirt Mile 2 Laps - 4.04 mi
Today we ran to a dirt road-type place and made a little track about 1
mile loop. I did 2 of those and then i had an extra lap when i got back @

Today we just did some grass running down on the 'open' field. It felt

Coral Canyon Hill Dirt Trail - 4 mi
Today went quite smoothly, besides our off-road detour. I didn't go as
fast of pace average since I was running with Taylor B and one of our
new Freshies. I ended up getting like a 10:27 pace or something, not
very good for competing for a Varsity spot. If I don't get Varsity,

Barefoot (3 Laps) - 3 mi
Today's barefoot run went great. It was quite nice to be able to have a nice, easy-ish run. It was kinda hard during warm-ups because my feet are all cut up from the swimming party, but I was able to avoid that with my lovely socks. Middleton Park - Stairway to Heaven - 4.09 mi
Today was one of the hardest runs I've done this entire training.
There's a high-grade hill at the very start that kills off your energy;
then after that there seemed to be a slight up-climb until a little
before the turn around. I started to cramp up, which I'm not sure if its
because of cereal or not. I've eaten cereal before and I've always felt
better. I did a posture reset every-now-&-then to help stretch out

2450 East Park Game Day
Today we did a big game day @ the park. It was really fun and I got lots of exercise with volleyball and ultimate frisbee. The distances are estimated. We had a nice crowd that made it a blast. By far one of my favorite methods of exercise (besides barefoot running : ])

Midnight Run w/ Shakespear - 4.41 mi
After
the stake dance, me and Taylor Shakespear decided we were gonna get our
run in. So he dropped me off first and I met him @ his house when I was
ready and we did a mid-night run. I had the biggest stomach cramp in

Hell Hole - 4mi Today's run was really fun. I loved going into the hell hole canyon, but I hated the hill back out. I swear I must have slept on the way back or something! It felt like I got more energy back than what I used once I got that crap thing they call a hill! Today I woke up a little earlier to eat so the food had a little more time to settle. Dirt Mile - 5mi Today's dirt miles felt really good. It was nice getting back into
running with the top group. My times really seemed to REALLY improve. I
starting feeling a little gutsy and micro-cramped on the last mile lap,
but other than that I felt absolutely great. It was really cool hearing
coach talk about how most of the returning boys are running together in
the front group. It really made me feel a little more noticed than just
another kid that's running.

Cheveron - Green Springs with Striders - 4mi
Today's workout was HARD. It sure got me breathing nice a deep. I
started to have a slight cramp through-out random times in the run.

| | Washington Parkway Reverse Today I was really worried about running because I wasn't able to run
while in San Diego. I ran with Makayla and I felt that I didn't stress
myself. I also played a GREAT game of football. I really love long
distance, I always got myself calm and easy-breathing in about 2 deep
breaths. I feel ready to get back to running with top boys.

Running Club Pacing Mile - 1.01 mi I ran with the 5+ boys and girls as a pace to some Running Club returns.
I'm pretty impressed with them when we were going 7:30 pace most of the
time and picked it up to beat 5 minutes in the last half of the final
lap. Its cool to know I can beat 7 minute mile without even trying
